    Cool NGD Kramer Focus 3000

Well here it is, the Blue body sanded headstock Kramer Focus 3000 posted in the Kramer ebay/CL classified section . I was concerned that I might not have gotten it at the stated CL price due to comments after my initial post. I actually purchased it for less due to a few issues I had with the guitar, but it also had it pluses. It had a discolored neck on the back side and an upper horn finish issue as well. The plus was the SD DDP humbucker. I had to rewire that as well. The fine tuners on the FR units are not original as well. Well anyway here are the pics!

Looks like a guitar that wants to be a workhorse....perhaps a champion thoroughbred.

Wants to be, it will be in the rotation. In the end I am well satisfied with this kramer focus 3000. Most definitely a champion thoroughbred!

I think you got a great deal. The Floyd and the Duncan are worth more than what you paid. So the rest was just free!

And I think it looks cool with the finish removed from the headstock.

Hey Matt, I would like to check out and still wonder if your neck would work with the kramer body I have. Looking forward to checking that out and at some point your Japan made kramers in your possession if I can afford one. By the way, you have an awesome collection of American and Japan made kramers. I am envious.

Sure..... there are "better" guitars out there, but dollar for dollar and pound for pound, those 80's foci are hard to beat. Congrats on your latest addition.

I'm glad you picked that up. I like the closeup pic of the OFR, too.

Nice one, looks like a player to me!

Also looks like the plate that pushes the locking screws against the fine tuners could be re-bent for more pressure... doesn't appear that they are actually touching. Simple fix though!

I have to admit this turned much better than I thought it would. Necks in good shape, the SD DDP sounds fantastic plus when split to single coil this pickup really shines. It has a glassy bell like strat tone. This pickup really sounds awesome in both hb and split mode.
