    Default My Swirl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve wanted a guitar with the swirl paint job for a long time but didn’t want to pay the 5-6k price tag. So I bought a 7 string and looked for someone who would do the job…basically had to search the WORLD!!!! Found a guy in England and one in Australia whom did good work…found one in the US who would swirl it and clear coat for about $500(which is normal…most guys would swirl the body without the clear coat for around $200.00). Finally I found a guy in Florida (Michael, livewireguitars.com) who not only would do the paint job with the clear coat, but for a bit more money would sell me the ENTIRE guitar!!!! Although the guitar is not in my hands yet I couldn’t be more pleased with the look…I should have it by next week!!! He also added the green decal and coated the head stock!

Those videos are cool. He sent me photos as the project progressed and the clear coat made a huge difference.

Looks great, nothing screams 80's like neon and swirl.

Got the guitar and must say that it plays and sounds awesome. I put Dimarzio D Activator pickups in the neck and Bridge. The finish is as good as anything the Ibanez factory can do!!! FYI, the guitar is the Ibanez RG7620. I like Michael at Livewires work so much that I'm having a 6 string made(Jem style:grip, lions claw bridge etc), That should be done in a couple of weeks

No you means it looks like sick : But yeah that is one sick swirl finish, cracking colours and take about in your face! Excellent
JUST BOUGHT A KRAMER GUITAR AND WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT IT???

THEN.... "Look at www.vintagekramer.com for info, look at www.ebay.com for prices guides, then come back here in 3 months and tell me how great your guitar is"

It looks great - nice pattern to the colours.
Sometimes you make a statement, and some bonehead comes in and references something that you aren't even talking about - I love that.

That really looks great. Ever since day one I have been a fan of swirls but ESPECIALLY the purple one. Green like this is a close second. VERY nice!

I agree, I've seen some that just don't look good at all. Especially if there done with two colors...They just look marbleized, although, I know some people like that I was going for the Ibanez Universe 20th anniversary look.
