My seven year old behringer xv amp, is sounding a tad old now

I need something that can give me, very crisp distortion, high gain, wet sounding tone.

By crisp do you mean crunchy or are you thinking more of an edgy bite?

And are you gunning for a new amp, pedal, or both?

High gain, wet and crunchy is relatively easy. High gain wet and bitey can be a bit more challenging.
