prorockgear.com is the only place I get bars from now. It comes with the collar (old or new school) and a wrench....and extremely fast shipping.
so i was swapping out pups on my yo-retta and was going to dive the trem so i could stick something between it and the cavity so i could just undo the strings from the tuners, swap the pups and restring without having to completely reset the whole thing...but i didnt push the bar all of the way in apparently and snapped the threaded peice sticking out from the trem...i feel like a fool. well, i guess its no more bar action until i get a replacement....FR special? probably....

If God would have wanted you up there He'd a miracled your ass up there by now, wouldn't He?
Yep. For 16 bucks you get a new bar, collar and wrench. I'd do that then use the old bar as a standby or replacement.![]()
i thought the peice sticking out of the trem was one peice, but its two? i guess you can still kick me in the balls. thanks for the info guys. so...how do i go about getting the broken peice off?

Newer collared ones should have a Allen screw on bottom side.

I've done the same thing on a Yo trem. You'd think that piece would be stronger, but it's actually quite frail.
