    Default Peavey Tracer-bridge alignment issue?

I have a 91 model with a peavey branded trem made by ping. The string alignment is not right. Just found another that looks like a year or two older that has a kahler spyder trem with the same issue Any tracer owners out there that could chime in? Thought mine might of had the wrong trem but now I think it was a factory issue. Here is the one on ebay, check it out using the zoom option.

I had one and my E was way out of place. I figured it was due to being built by hillbillies..........

It wasn't made in Arkansas, or Appalachia for that matter. You have to have HILLS to have hillbillies. There aren't many worth speaking of in our eastern neighbor. Now if it were Gibson that you were talking about, you might have something...

To the OP, from the relationship of the bridge with the cavity, it looks as if the posts may have not been drilled in the right spot. It's possible that they were replaced, I suppose, or that the neck alignment is off. Do you have any pics of the rest of the guitar?
If God would have wanted you up there He'd a miracled your ass up there by now, wouldn't He?

I just checked two of mine, and they're both aligned pretty well. I checked 22 and 24 fret Tracers to see if there was a difference, and there wasn't. I have taken the necks off of both of these since I've owned them, so it's possible that they were messed up before.

Just loosen up the neck and eyeball the E strings until it's even and tighten the screws. You don't even need to loosen the strings...just ease out the screws with the body in your lap and the neck in your left hand, screw driver in your right....easy fix.

I can see from the picture there is too much spacing on the high E.

+1. it's just slightly off. shift the neck, rescrew 1/16", and you're fine.

Nah, not the neck bro's. Pretty sure its the bridge post. The high e side is off, the trem post on the low e side has dug into the saddle!

Oh I know, just a lot of folks think everybody from Arkansas is a hillbilly, not just the ones in the hills.
