What Would You Do: When a Forum Member Doesn't Deliver in a Transaction

Hadn't seen the new action on this thread. Thanks for your efforts on my behalf, Vengeance. Again, I'm grateful.

I went back and looked at my first PM to bmac re: the pickup. I responded to his post here at 1:43 on March 18, exactly 20 minutes after the PM that was sent on Jemsite.

Here's a copy of my initial response and Bryan's response.

Has anyone bitten on this yet? If not, I'd be game for $75 if you've still got it.

I wonder if he said yes to me and then got a better offer from the guy on the Ibanez site. Although, I mean, sheesh, would you screw someone for five measly bucks? It's not like I superlowballed him or anything.

I'm most curious whether his activity on Jemsite stops about the same time his activity here does. Frankly, though, I'm not sure that would tell us much. Think I'll go register at Jemsite and see what I can track down. EDIT: Should have looked at the timestamps more clearly on Vengeance's post before writing that. Obviously he's still active.

Well, I registered on Jemsite. He was active on Jemsite freaking yesterday.

For what it's worth, I haven't started to get angry until right now. I've given Bryan the benefit of the doubt. But the fact that this guy is active somewhere else online steams me. That makes me significantly more inclined to suggest banning him here, now that we now for sure he's just avoiding this site. And you can bet I'm going to be watching to see if he tries to sell anything else. Looks like Jemsite uses a system of sorts called iTrader that includes a feedback rating for members buying and selling there.

Sent him a PM. We'll see. Doubt I'll hear from him.

Might be an idea to give the Admin a heads up over there as to what a slimy toad he is and to keep an eye on his movements ? The odds are he will lie low over there too, now he's been found out again
