Maple Neck Refret - Poly Touchup
Well I got the new frets in my neck and just waiting to do some filing and polishing on the frets. One thing I did notice is that the new frets are a slight bit narrower than the old ones so there is a bit of exposed maple between the fret and the fretboard (its a about a 5 thou wide strip). Any ideas on what I should do - i.e., is there a way to touch up that area or do you just respray the board? I kind of like the worn look of my fingerboard so ideally I would love to do some kind of touch up.
Thanks for any advice!
