Default Kramer Focus Series Stock Pick-ups?

Hi, I was wondering if anybody can tell me what were the stock pick-ups that came with all the focus models? For Example..

    Focus 1000 - 1 Hum - ?
    Focus 2000 - 2 Hum - ?
    Focus 3000 - 1 Hum & 2 single - ?
    Focus 4000 - 2 Hum - ?
    Focus 5000 - 3 Hum - ?
    Focus 6000 - 1 Hum & 2 single - ?

    Thanks!

    Welcome on board.
    According to VK
"Pickups on the earlier ones were Japanese made of an unknown type. Later, they were replaced by cheaper Duncans."

Unfortunately, the ads for the Focus line in the 80's were wrong...SD's were never used. They were all Japan pups that stayed the same from around 85 on.

    Hums read in at 10k
    Singles read in at 6k.

Not bad pups, but not great either.

That's exactly how I'd describe them having had two F-3000s. I replaced the first one with Duncans and the second with DiMarzios, both of which are a significant improvement over stock.

Some of them came with HBs which had hex screws (similar to a Schaller 2 in1 or Dimarzio)...these sounded much better/different than the std PUs.
    May have been Matsumoku...

Very true. That is why I wrote "from 1985 on"....I can never remember how to spell Matsumoku Those pups from pre '85 were actually very nice and reminded me a lot of a Schaller pup.

If my recolection serves me right, my Focus 5000 (3 hums) were valued at 4.4 K ohms. That is pretty low by any standard and almost any aftermarket PUP would be an improvement.

Yeah, those hex screw HB's are pretty good to my ear. My 3000d has one and while I usually swap out the bridge pup with a DiMarzio Super3, I haven't been in too great of a hurry to replace it. I've heard rumors that they might actually be DiMarzio's, but there are no markings on mine to support that idea, but the sound is fairly similar to a Super Distortion.
