Default I will stop being a Weather Whiner.

You guys know that I whine about Pac NW weather. I have done that because I spent 53 years living on the Calif. Coast. I've been up here for about 9 years. I'm still getting used to it. Anyhow, I'm watching droughts; wildfires; storms like there was no tomorrow; flooding; heatwaves and just general weather havoc. I apologize to the board for being a pussy.

I'm with you. The fire is "100 percent contained" but the air was really full of smoke today.

With the humidity today it felt around 110 - 115. Even now, at 9:00, it's about 95 outside. Next week's forecast is full of high 80s. Gotta keep that air conditioning on just a little bit longer.

These whether gurus predicted a high of 81 here. Not even close. The high was around 74. I'm not whining. I just don't understand why they get paid so much to be so wrong.

Well, it's about 65 outside at about 3PM. My poor 65 Mustang is rusting because it's down to metal. I took all the paint off a few years ago. Anyway, I'm not whining. No sweat. I sand. I am doing that while the weather is so cool. I ran out of primer. I'll get that tomorrow in the morning.

I'm not whining. However, the next few days are going to be in the low '90's. Thw wicked witch of the West was just making an exclamation; "I'm melting!!!!! What a world!!!!".

$1750 a month to rent the space!!!! Holy shit! No wonder half the people there are crazy....and the other half have moved up north.

Hey Fett, "What is the best thing to see in the NW?" .....A Californian headed south with a friend under each arm......

I lived right near that MH park. When I sold my real honest to God home my mortgage payment was $750. I owned the land and the whole lot. My property taxes were about $2k. Now, I live in two singlewide mobilehomes. They just increased the rent after 5 years. It's now $540 per. My property taxes are about $110 per. I keep track of home prices in my old hood. It's been 9 years since I moved up here. I posted years ago about how I thought real estate prices were out of hand. I was right. Except, Marin County. I sold my house in late 2003 for $523,000. Anyway, in 2012 it's still worth that. Location, location, location. I can't move even if I wanted to. Ya know what I mean.

I'm not whining. However, it hasn't rained in 52 days. That ain't normal in the Pac NW.
