Weird FR Special saddle

Was doing a string change, noticed the hole in the bottom of the saddle was 90deg off. Checked the others as well, only one like it. Got a magnet from a hard drive & it stuck. Maybe a higher % of steel content.

It's hard to tell anymore, the Amrican made guitars are all starting to use cheaper gear for the guitars. They're getting parts from Mexico, Korea, China and other 3rd world countries. Keeps Americans from jobs and makes other countries employed for crappy ass parts, but at least they do work most of the time. You may have a part that was defective from the factory as well, just because it's new, doesn't mean it's ok, lol...
