Thanks. It's a myth that 7s are harder to play. It can be as easy or as difficult as you want to make it, just like any other instrument. Some things are actually easier on a 7 because you have that other string right there within reach.

Congrats! Those Yo Strikers are well made, great playing, and great looking guitars. The only problem I ever had with mine was dissatisfaction with the tone of the Quad Rails.
    Go-to guitars:

    Red Yo 1984 w/chrome hardware
Candy Red '86 Focus 3000 with '85 neck
    Candy Blue '85 Focus 3000
    Trans-Blue '87 F-3000 w/chrome hardware & SD Pearly Gates +
Spalted Maple top BC Rich Mockingbird Exotic Classic w/SD JB & coil split added
Blue Burst Epi LP Plus Top

Great KF deals with: Phred, popvamp, mrwhipper, PacerPete, daveschare, bacon, zentropa, Full Crib (x2), and movnmik (Red Yo 1984 - FINALLY!!! WOO-HOO! )

I have been told by a forum member here that these are solid alder.

errbt: I never leave the stock bridge pickup in anything anyway.

Kramer Classic I: I found this one on eBay right when I was not prepared to buy (of course)! I got my blue one from somebody on sevenstring.org and I'm only interested in maple fretboard ones. There are rosewood fretboard 7-string Strikers, and kajillions of rosewood fretboard 7s of other brands. I never even take a second look at anything with a rosewood fretboard because it's too common and I don't really like the appearance.
