As this add states, i am looking for some free guitars to replace the guitars i had to sell to move from alabama to here. Interested in FREE Gibson guitars, Free Fender guitars and FREE Tube amps from Fender, Marshall or Blackstar. Heads or combos are welcomed. FREE means i pay you no money whatsoever. One my buddy just did...

Hi I saw your post on the VA Beach CL, I'm always looking to help out someone in need. Sadly I don't have any Gibson or Fender gear, but if you would be interested I have a very pristine Diezel VH4 tube amp head that's collecting dust along with a PRS 513 Maple Top. I bought them for my Son last year but he didn't seem to really get into music that much. But you seem like you really have some passion! Let me know if you're interested.

Sxxxx Xxxxxxxx, It would truly be an honor to be able to play such fine a guitar and amp. Of course i think that it is rather unlikely that anyone would do such a remarkable thing for me, nevertheless i would most certainly humbly accept. While my add probably does seem a bit ridiculous i really did sell off all of my musical gear which took so much time and expense to acquire when it became necessary to move back here to virginia beach. He seems like a nice enough guy and would put anything to real good use. And he´s got absolutely nothing to lose besides some funny replies to his ad. I bet, he´ll get some. There´s at least one dumbass waking up every morning. If you ask me, this strategy is not so ridiculous like it seems. Not trying to be that guys lawyer here but, ... he for one ain´t no dumbass.

There's a guy in my area that's been doing this for a little while on CL too, except he says that he wants the instruments for teaching or other various reasons, then he turns around and sells them with "custom frankenstrat" paint jobs. It's pretty funny.
