    Default I wonder...

I wonder what Doc Dryer's widow did with his collection. Doc & the Mrs were both really decent folks. I had Doc do a couple setups for me, and he taught me a lot. I was pretty bummed when he passed. His collection was simply unbelievable. And, the guitars were only half. The different heads, cabs, combos, and rack gear he had just sitting around everywhere was astounding. Any of you end up with any of his stuff?

About a year before he passed, Doc and I had several long phone conversations, and we always said we'd meet. He was going to mail me some odds and end and a few papers, but then he took a turn for the worse. I never got to see what was supposed to be there. He was a really nice guy, and like you, it hit me hard when he was gone. Interestingly, when we talked, we talked shop more than about his collection or mine.

Heh... Well, if you ever heard him use the word "ampalanche", that was from me. I almost caused one in his garage.
