    gold looks good on a lot more colors than people give it credit for.

    to really finish it out, track down some gold screws for the pickup adjustment and the pickup mounting rings and anything else that could take it... even the pickup pole pieces. I did all that on my Jackson PC-1 and it really visually pops.
