    Default Epiphone Prophecy EX

If you're looking for an affordable shred single cut, try one of these out. Not usually a big fan of Epi but they got this one right, upgraded everything, including graphite nut, real EMGs, non-weight relieved, grovers, etc. Beautiful guitar with quilt maple top, ebony board, multiple bindings etc.

Oh, I agree, but I've been itching to have some actives in a single cut in my collection.

It looks great. Hopefully Epi improved the electronics on these models....ie, shitting selector switches.

Yeah, here's some more info on the prophecy series. It should be noted that the new Prophecy Plus is due out very shortly. Epi has changed the guitar to more of an LP clone with block inlays, four controls, etc., I actually prefer the original design with the blade inlays, etc.
