Make sure all the bolts are tight on the trem & lock nut. Use some lube or chapstick on the knife edges.
Do a google search to confirm proper set up.
    Hope this helps.

It's a brand new guitar which could mean it's just the strings that need stretching.
    But you might be right.

I´d second that. Six´s advice will troubleshoot any other issues you´ll might have with the unit, tho

If this is your first guitar with a Floyd type tremelo, be advised that you must really stretch the strings THOROUGHLY...more so than with a fixed bridge guitar.

Yeah this is my first floyd equipped guitar and apart from it going out of tune (Which i have been playing it in the past 10 minutes and it's starting to stay in tune more) it is an awesome guitar, The pickups, the neck all of it's just great.

Make sure you tighten the locking nut screws (the ones that connect it to the neck, not the ones you clamp the strings with)

Also tighten the intonation screws, they usually ship a little loose

but some quarters in the trem cavity to block the trem. It will never go out of tune. I have a few of those Classics. They all go out of tune unless you block the floyd. But I have found that with many guitars, hell, even high end Ibanez or Jacksons.

My good friend took the guitar off me last night at a jam night and gave it good setup, He blocked the trem so it can only dive, sanded the neck and put gun stock oil on it and gave it a good setup.
Can't wait to get it back tonight.

after opting out a few months ago, I'm back to putting an OFR on the Pacer Classic. have just had too many issues with the Kramer lic FR. parts wearing out quickly or parts breaking or not staying in tune as well as an OFR.

and no, I will not be blocking the trem on this guitar. Kramers and floating FRs go together like peas and carrots.
