I watched it on HDNet yesterday. I'm sure you had lots of fun. I thought Juan Crucier added so much to Ratt that I hope they can keep him in the mix. I was pleasantly surprised by Quiet Riot's new singer as well. I only looked at my watch when Queensryche were on as they were a bit boring to me but I am sure a bigger fan would have appreciated their set list. I just missed Loudness and am trying to track down some youtube footage of their set now.

...hope you had a blast! That looks like an awesome band lineup too!

Am glad JuanC played with Ratt too. Hope it works out for him.

Loudness, hand down, was THE best act of Saturday! I was in the middle of the pit whole show.

I thought the same thing, but I just assumed that something was lost in the TV transmission. The rest of the band was great, but George didn't sound that good. From the TV it looked like the second stage was in somebody's backyard as you could see houses near the stage.

This is how i feel. Pearcy is pearcy, he just isnt going to morph into david coverdale or whatever in his 50s. You can either live with his voice and enjoy the thing as a whole or you cant get past pearcy.

me personally, I absolutely loved there show. For not having played in a year, and with juan for the first time since 91 I thought they were great.

Juan's vocals on lay it down, lack of communication, nobody rides for free were just awesome. All the vids of the band recently have just been missing that voice.

It is awesome to have him back and it was awesome to enjoy that event all day saturday. I thought stryper, skid row, queensryche, loudness and ratt were fantastic.

I am so happy all these bands are out playing and alive and healthy. I want to see ratt live here soon really really bad. Hopefully they will get a record out by the end of the year and get on the road.

my only complaint was they did not play anything off infestation. I know they are forced to play the hits because of the festival or whatever but I would love to have heard some other stuff like bottom line, closer to my heart, what you give, hard time etc......

loved the set though.....I was hoping for some sort of special mention of Robbin Crosby at the show. This was the first time since 91 they were all together only thing missing was the king and he died 10 years ago this june 6th. I was really hoping they would honor him or something. They did play im insane which was his and so was you think your tough.........Really wanted to see them do something for him...

Here is ratts set in it's entirety.......I need to update the lay it down thread now, Finally saw warren play it from a pro shot clearly......

I was there for both days and it was perfect weather to be on the lawn.

I thought Queensryche was the best on Saturday and Night Ranger was awesome on Friday night.

    Can't wait for next year!

Oh, forgot about pics...well here we go:

With a friend on Friday prior to Night Ranger:

With my "M3 group", I almost look scared in this picture and stick out like a sore thumb

With another friend of mine on Saturday night:

And with John Gallagher of Raven! He was mingling in the crowd, no one recognized him:

Not used to seeing that type of thing here Well, after Barroselas Metalfest, a festival here in my village, not much surprises me . So many hilarious things going on in one day. The legend of the deer that rapes the metal heads camping in the woods, the guy that slept for 5 hours in the ground, woke up and ran into the woods and we never saw him again, the hundreds of stoned people to death people and the classic drunk guys doing funny shit, the degrading images... what a great time.
