Saw that too a couple a months back. It's a shame, that there is almost nothing to find about Vito in the www. Imo he was one of the most melodic shredders there where. The man is a good example what can happen if you run outta luck, with your familiy dying around you and yourself having to make the choice between being that guitar god or taking responsibility for your family and sacrificing your dream in the process. Great guy.

Oh that is sad to hear.

I always wondered what happened to Vito and hoped he would surface again with a solo album of some sort. His guitar work had a lot of personality amongst a sea of EVH inspired players.

He was getting interviewed about coming back as a player. Above the family issues he seemed to have suffered a serious hand injury that stalled him a very long time. As far as I know he´s runnin´ a small business of computer repairs.

I too would love to see him come back. He added some different style to the shred-scene and besides that he was a great rhythm-oriented guitarist.

    Cheers,
    Christian
