Default Thanks for your help guys!! *Finally* took a few pics for you.

Here is my most humble Kramer herd. I hope you don't mind a few mutts!

FYI these guitars are an utter JOY to play. They are all set up SO well, and feel incredible in my hands. I play each one pretty well every day.

PROPS -- the awesome Kramer-addicts listed below in my sig took the time & effort to help me with my herd & questions. I really appreciate your assistance guys. *Especially* xbolt -->> he sold me his AMAZING black Imperial (my baby!) two years ago, sold me the Claw-perial neck, and has done an incredible job working on & setting up my guitars for me!! Popvamp too -- he sold me the white Baretta body & found the Claw-perial body for me - awesome dude!

    - 1985 Baretta, custom plate, Lasido neck, medium heavy maple body, my FIRST Kramer, bought it in the early '90s for $300.00, my favorite guitar for years & years! BTW I did try a new SD JB in it for a while. It just didn't have the LIFE and "feel" of the old stock pup.

    - 1984-85 Imperial, not sure if it's a Lasido neck, my favorite guitar hands down, it is VERY heavy though! This guitar is just *special*. You'd need to play it to understand fully - the neck/strings/feel has this SNAP to it & this certain Oh-my-fucking-god-ness about it. It's cosmic.

    - mutt PCI, FF-Pink, SD Custom-Custom, still needs some work as it is a bit stiff to play - just doesn't quite feel right. Its got a nice amount of that "maple HONK" sound. We might have to do the OFR in WD40 bath soon. I might try a JBJ on this one shortly, as I'm not sold on the SD CC.

    - mutt Imperial, FF-Pink, SD JB & '59, for sure one of my favorites. I so Love reverse necks! This one is so sweet. She plays a bit too slinky, so am thinking of replacing the .009-.46 with .10s, or maybe just adding a third spring.

    - mutt "Claw-perial", SD JB & '59, wonderful wonderful axe! Am still getting used to the neck as it's a touch chunkier than the rest - am used to & play bananas more. It's definitely growing on me, probably going to become a main guitar soon. The only thing is the SD JB sounds too bright in this axe. So we're swapping in an old JBJ shortly.
[Hmm weird reflection on the upper horn.]

    - 1984-85 Baretta, medium heavy maple body, SD JB, replacement Lasido neck, just picked the guitar up from xbolt a couple of weeks ago and have been freaking out since then. This guitar plays almost like my black Imperial. Crazy!

    - 1985-86 Deluxe (am baby sitting it, but it's soon to be mine?!? haha we'll see!), stock pickups were replaced (not by me, was done immediately upon purchase?!? I was told too) with a set of Tom Andersons. However this guitar sounds unbelieveable!!!! FYI am going to re-install .11s on her, re-install the D-tuna, and tune down to D. This guitar belongs to my bro who sold me my first Kramer. It has gone back & forth a few times.

    - my left over parts mutt PCI, FF-Blue, has a semi-sloppy shallow recess route done (not by me), a neck which would NOT work right on any other body (what the?!?), a wicked JBJ, Jackson single coils, a mint Schaller Floyd ...and it plays just AWESOME!

    - and I could NOT resist a Gorky Park for $200.00!

...thanks for your kind words guys! I really appreciate it.

Again, if it weren't for the help of my fellow addicts here at KF, I wouldn't be so lucky to own such FANTASTIC guitars. You guys have been real good to me.

FYI time for another morning coffee ...and then we have a few more sets of strings to change today (hahaha it never ends!)

@pbiava - they all sound basically similar, but different enough for each to have their own certain character. Plus it appears I play each one just a bit differently maybe? So yeah I can get different tones out of them.

@Kramer James - yes, I play them all quite often. It's a "rule" I have I guess. If I buy it I have to play it. If I can't play it very often in a week, then I have too many guitars.

But yeah, I Love guitars & music. I cannot help myself to have more than one. Also it's amazing the instruments one can build up over the long haul.
