I keep pulling the Wah out of the chain, I don't like what it does to my tone when its not in use, and I don't use it enough to make it worth having in there

Maybe it's in the wrong location?

Listen to some Alice N Chains or Metallica for some wah inspiration.

I had been rocking some No More Tears and No Rest For The Wicked lately with the LP

Not that much Wah-inspiration on either one

But if you are at the LP- and ZW-path lately what do you think about getting some Pride & Glory in your Player? Pretty much and mostly tasteful Wah there

Thats what I like about those 2 records with Ozzy, is there isn't too much Wah. IMHO, Zakk shot himself in the foot by using the wah WAY too much on later stuff.

I do enjoy most of the Pride and Glory stuff, when I'm in the mood for some Fake Southern Charm (what with ol' Jeff being straight out of the swamps of "Joisey" )

:happy1 See, that's the problem with us old-worldlers on the other side of the pond. I just can't tell shit if it's legit or not "southern drawl". But I always found it funny that ZW, being a kid from the Joisey-shore, was and is neck-deep in this cliche. Anyways I like him mucho, but yeah, he's overdoing his thing in the last couple 'o years

He isn't from the shore....he's from Jackson....and you would be suprised what happens when you get 20 minutes inland. There is a mix of rednecks who might as well be straight out of Deliverance still to this day, and then during the housing boom, all the joeys from New York that wanted to live in McMansions but couldn't afford to do so in civilization moved in. It's actually quite the comedy trip to go to the stores around there to witness the comedy first hand.

Awesome 80s sound though you have there.
