    Hello All,
Just dropped in for a bit. Pretty cool I have one of those Kramer title things under my name now. I know it has to do with how many posts you make because
I remember reading about Shane making it to 3000. I have been off work for a couple of weeks now for the summer. I've been feeling a little sad just missing my
brother. I took my daughter to the Chattanooga Choo Choo, a trip I made with Shane and our grandparents many, many, moons ago. When I got back my mom told
me about Didi giving her these cards she found. They were cards Shane had written out and never mailed to my mom. My mom said he always did that.
He would tell her, "Gotcha a card but didn't mail it." They were from her bday last year. You know quick-witted Shane always found a funny, crazy, smart-ass card to give,
but she said this one was a sweet one. He told her she was the best mom and nana ever. So of course, after we hang up I'm crying my eyes out, and right then I get a phone call from Didi.
I asked her, "Why are you calling me right now?" She said, "I don't know, you just popped into my head." So don't believe that Shane isn't helping us out up there.
Didi's dad just had a liver transplant. He hasn't done too great, but seems to be improving. So if you still say prayers, maybe you can add her and her dad's recovery. I'm not sure
she can handle another loss this soon. Anyway, I didn't come to totally be moping around. Just a little visit to see what you guys are talking about. Shane always came here to get his mind off
things. Probably would help me if I knew something about guitars. LOL. Blessings to all.

Hey to everybody reading this thread, whether u were quite familiar with Shane or whether u just caught a few of his posts and found them hilarious like I found almost everything he said ... U may have read some of Shane's posts about his kids, the eldest being Cooper... Well, I happen to be that child, lucky enough to be born to such a fantastic man such as my father. I know about this website because every time I saw my dad with a computer, this was the website he was on, and man did he love it. This was his home away from home, his escape through his long fight. You guys were his second family. And hey Aunt Lisa, if you check back in on this thread, which I expect you will. I've been missing my dad a lot lately, with a big contribution coming from the recent celebration of father's day, the first after my dad's passing. I've been looking at his posts on the forum, and have found it extremely comforting, especially when I see all the support he received from all his KF bro's You guys truly are amazing, and you have no idea how much you all meant to my dad. And you and this forum continue to offer comfort to our family, allowing us to see my fathers old jokes, and the impact he made on this online community. Thank you all. I might occasionally post some stories, or pictures, or hell, even just flat out vent into this thread, as it might offer a release that I am sorely lacking. I know you won't mind, and might even appreciate a few good pictures or stories, if anyone stops by occasionally to check in on the thread. This is our family at a Braves game last year, and even though he wasn't feeling great, he still had a blast

What an honor to have you as a member of the KF Cooper. Really glad you decided to join in here and share more with us about you and your Dad/family. We have enjoyed all the things that Lisa has shared and look forward to yours as well. Stay close to your Mom and lil bro, as you all can help each other through the rough times.

My dad was a funny guy, and always made a joke out of everything... Especially jokes so bad u couldn't help but laugh at how bad they were The joke he loved to tell was: Did you hear about the guy who got the left side of his body cut of in a car wreck? No, well it's ok, he's all right now! He would tell this to me, my mom, and my brother, and laugh his ass off while we sat silently grimacing, until we all finally burst out laughing. He was hilarious, but dear God were his puns bad... And here's a pic of him being his normal goofball self, with my cousin none the wiser

Condolences to you, over the loss of your dad, Eddie. I know my words seem small compared to your loss.

Since I was away from the forum, when we lost Shane, I didn't get a chance to pay my respects. Intelligence, sense of humor, integrity and bravery are all attributes associated with Shane. I would say he'll be missed, but he will never be forgotten.

Thanks for posting the pictures, Lisa

Thank you Tommy, I miss him terribly. Although I wasn't on here before my brother passed away, I'd also like to say welcome back.

Share all you want Cooper, it's a little bit of therapy being here where your dad loved to be. This joke made my day. I can hear him saying it. That's the best thing about reading all your dad's posts. It's like I can hear him saying it all. I will enjoy any of the memories you have to share. ♥

maybe because he didn't have to correct mine! LOLOL
Shane would think this article was HILARIOUS! I hope you get the puns...
    Hope everyone is doing well.

My condolences for your loss Cooper and Lisa. I'm new here so I didn't get to talk to Shane directly, but I've read some of his old posts, and he seemed like a stand up guy.
