Very nice of you to post.

And keeping his memory alive...I can't resist...

In memory of Shane - Thinking of You Guys (no period)

Edited for correction: "Thinking of you guys."

Well, really, you can't put a period because this is not a complete sentence, but a fragment. If it said, "I am thinking of you guys." then we would need a period.

Poor sweet, dear, Tim. You walked into the Lion's den wearing a pork chop necklace. Step your game up, bub! PM me to QC your spelling/grammar posts...I'll keep you PC going forward.

Thanks again for the post, Lisa!

Why do I always have soda in my mouth when I read something like that? It always ends up coming out my nose and that stings! In this case, totally worth it!

Default Relay for Life in memory of Shane

Today (since it is after 12am) is the Relay for Life in my city. While I have participated in this for several years since Shane was sick, this is my 2nd year to be the captain of my team. I had just begun this year's fundraising when Shane passed away. In February I know I posted the link of my page for you guys to see and to donate if you wished to. I just wanted to share here that as of today I have raised $865 in honor/memory of my brother. I am very proud of helping this cause. Whether you agree in supporting the American Cancer Society or not, I believe Shane would be proud of all his friends here and how you stepped up to the plate to honor your friendship with him by supporting his family and me while we have gone through this time of losing him. It still isn't easy and we struggle, but every time I come here I just want to say THANKS. Please come look at my page: http://main.acsevents.org/goto/forshane
and my pics: http://photobucket.com/LisaandShane (I have added more)
    Love and Blessings

Default In Shane's Memory w the KF

If you didn't know, I am an elementary school librarian. When Shane passed I asked for my friends to donate to Relay for Life in lieu of flowers. Today my school and a neighboring school that some of my friends moved to, made a donation of children's books to my library in memory of Shane. What I didn't know was I had also told them the story of the KF and Shane. I think you will notice that two of the new books are also to honor your friendship with Shane. Thanks again.

That's pretty powerful stuff there Lisa
It goes to show one never truly knows the impact that their actions can have on a person/persons.
I'm proud to have been able to call Shane a brother

(....and hopefully they donated some grammer books as well)
