    I just read it..!!!!

    quote from the log

Today at 4:30 pm, Shane McMeans left his earthly home to ascend to Heaven. He was surrounded by loved ones and passed very peacefully. He is now pain free, running with our dog Jack, and dancing in Heaven. How can I feel anything but joy for him?

I pray that the grief I am overwhelmed with will lessen and I will focus on that joy. But for now, I am crying for the loss of my beloved and the father to my children. As I was sitting here typing this blog, I heard gut wrenching sobs from my bedroom. When I went in there I found my sweet, strong Cooper devastated at the loss of his father. Cooper finally allowed his grief to show. Please lift up my family and give them strength to make it through this whole and stronger. Shane would want us to feel joy not grief. But that is so hard.

Thank you for the continued prayers. Shane is with our Father and that must be amazing!!!

I will post funeral arrangements soon.

    DiDi

RIP Shane. You where a great man/husband/father and a great guy all around..!!!!

RIP Shane..... This is so so sad.

It was only a few months ago we were arranging to meet up in Ireland. He had been planning to take his wife for their 20th wedding anniversary over to Ireland for Nov 2013. Prayers and thoughts going out to his family at this desperate time...
Shane you can enjoy all the Guinness you want now up in heaven .... God speed buddy x

Wow...even though I never met the guy in person, this one hits me hard. Fellas, this is both great and horrible news. We lost one of our Forum brothers, but at the same time...now he's free of all the pain and suffering he was forced to take. Shane was always such a great guy all around, never heard a negative thing out of him since I joined here. He will be surely missed by everyone who ever knew him. For sure to never be forgotten in ours or anyone else's hearts he ever touched. Don't start correcting the angels on their grammar and spelling. RIP bro, you're in a better place, we love ya man.
