    Default Suggestions for pups - Striker 600ST

    Hi guys. I'm thinking about buying new pups for my striker 600st. The sound i'm getting now is quite nice but i need something with more edge. The pup-config is two single coils and one humbucker (guess you know that though.

    As for the humbucker i was thinking about a seymore duncan JB or screaming deamon. As for the single coils i have no idea, meaby something from Dimarzio? I'm not very good so suggestions would be helpful.

    I would also like to be able to play modern metal with the guitar if possible allthough i love the 80's tone of Lynch/Demartini/Reb Beach.

    Cheers

    Yeah i was thinking about that to I do know a thing or two about humbuckers but i really need some suggestions about the single coils. I do need a good pup with a warm fuzzy tone for speed picking.

    I second that.

    Maybe an EMG 81 and two EMG SA's?

    Active pups are not neccessary.

    Just find a pretty high output pickup of your choice.

    The pickup Tommy sent to me is OUTSTANDING.

    Its an ibanez INF4 and you can get them quite cheap.

    I also have a striker 600st, and the pickup really improved it in every way, even the sustain is longer!
    Kramer Focus 3000/Custom Strat-> Boss ce-3-> MXR 78 modified overdrive->Custom Tube od pedal-> MXR phase 90-> Boss noise supressor Bogner Alchemist/ Amp simulators->Various Delays->Boss CS-3 Compressor (no order -3-)

    If ya ears aint bleedin', ya aint loud enough ta git the job dun'.
