Only the cheap-ass parts used on Yo Kramers, those are pretty much the worst floyd copy ever built. WAY worse than even Floyd II, which at least had a proper sustain block and better materials. Any offer higher than $10 is a waste of money, though I'd personally gladly pay $10 NOT to use it.

Yeah, maybe they changed them but the one on my PC was actually quite decent. Of course, having my druthers I'd go OFR just because, but still.

Found a overstock site that had them last year for $20 each. $20 Floyd? yah i'll pass

I really don't care what anyone says,I'll take my 25 year old OFR over anything they license today.

Sorry Mark but I've had 3 Classics and those lic bridges really suck compared to the real deal... they feel like toys.

Personally, I don't think they are the worst licensed floyds. I replaced mine with an OFR and it was much better, but I put the "kramer" floyd on a non-floating mutt and it handles it's job much better than a vintage style trem.

In fact.. before I replaced the licensed trem on my jackson DK2... my mutt with the kramer floyd sounded better (both have the same pickup and body wood).

That being said, would I buy one? no.

Actually mine probably works so great because it's blocked for dive only, although I think Eric (Mr Scary) has his floating and he said his is solid too?

Ofcourse the OFR just owns all lol

Yeah, I think when they are set up to dive only they aren't half bad.

I've had one and for me, it's a lot better then the Floyd Rose II. Now I do prefer the OFR, but if I had a "Kramer" floyd on say a classic, I would use it until a black OFR came up to replace it with.

I had problems with the one that came on the Striker I sent back because I couldnt get 2 of the saddles intonated. Replace it with a FR special and it was tuned in intonated in 20 minutes. Sent that guitar back, and got a Pacer classic .... set to float, with about a 2 step pull up, and I can go 2 weeks without unlocking the nuts and doing a tune-up, and yes I use it. I am not saying that the OFR is not better ( I know it is), but the Kramer trems on the Pacer classics are pretty damn good!!! I am just a living room rockstar though. I want the Pacer Vintage for the better equipment, to compare between the two, then I will know if the Pacer Classic is really the bargain I think it is!

I got a Yo Baretta that came with a Kramer Floyd. It wasn't bad, but wasn't near as good as my OFR that's 25 yrs old on my mutt Baretta.

I subsequently swapped my Kramer Floyd out for a OFR from warmoth and the difference is like night and day.

It's worth every penny of the $175. My OFR from back in 86 ran $350

the kramer-stamped floyds aren't that bad, really. I have one, taken out of my fr404 musicyo baretta, installed in my 1986 baretta and I really can't complain about it not performing as it should though it has only seen moderate use. I do have a steel sustain block on it though as the original just wasn't long enough (for a very similar reason, the OFR in the FR404 has the pot-metal block).
Of course, having an OFR in the FR404 is nice as it makes a huge difference for the tone of that guitar with those pickups. Plus it feels better somehow.
    I guitar, therefore, I am a guitarer.

Being in a buying mood. I had a thought about this one. I just knew it was a Yo. It does have a brass block as an upgrade. Oh, well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/160872895412...84.m1439.l2649 I bought it.
