This a cool idea, we could also use this for ideas for the 2011 jam.
let's start an exclusive thread where kramer members would contribute a short youtube clip of their favorite licks? or rhythm chords? or warm up exercise? and break it down so we can all learn it?
there's a lot of talent here and i'm sure everyone will benefit.
don't have a to be a shred god to contribute. any contribution is welcomedthere's always something we can learn from each other.

It sounds like a bunch of noise really slow. I tried taking it down before recording this final vid and it sounded awful haha
Take whatever you can get out of it that you can though, the first part is basically the notes played, all you do differently is tap the 4th and 5th notes!![]()

Here's a short video of a few things that I like to do when it's practice time. I plan on doing a video doing some actual "licks", but I think the stuff I cover in this video is important to do as well.
Good deals with: muttznmongrelz (x2), eddiedbone, brokrguy, jumbowolfe (x2), amerturk, Full Crib, smorgdonkey, aceman_831, pointyheadstock, charv712 (x2), Tourpicx, ferengi-bri, SGTCLOUGH, EDDIEVRULZ, DarthPhineas (x2), bacon, mrwhipper, Louthedog, moku, Powerglide350, switchone...
i hope this is useful. the cool thing about diatonic scales is that once you're familiar with them, then you can start at any note and do an octave of scales down the whole neck. also, each mode graph onto one another and overlap, so you can build on these patterns
i usually find myself playing a combination of the mixolydian and aeolian modes. here's one set of diatonic scales:
