    Default '09 Kramers

Yeah, cool pics of some '09s. Not to shabby. I really dig the SD Blackout in the Disciple.

That just looks like a recap of what they have built the last couple of years.

I would be very surprised if they offered all of those guitars at once.

Awesome news, sorry didn't get it straight away. The black LP looks great ( and I normally don't like LP's). Thanks voodoo for the clarification.

Those new strikers do look really good Kevin, now if I could just get one with a block logo Don't suppose there is any chance of the VT-200 ever seeing the light is there?

I'm intrigued with the HSS LP. Although I would like a vintage burst type finish.

A really cool thing about these Kramer LP's is the 25.5" scale as well, easy change over on stage without mentally having to think about scale length mid solo .

Am I the only one who doesn't like the two new 2009 models? They don't look like kramers at all... the headstock is horrible and generic imo.. they look like every other no-name import... sacrificing everything kramer for a trendy modern look. Even the striker looks more generic to me, looks more like a Jackson Dinky clone. I thought Gibson already made an epiphone voodoo LP, why do they need a kramer logo.. it's not a Kramer at all.

Im really impressed wtih the US series on the other hand.... anyone feel like donating one of those lovely usa pacer to the kramer james cause?

Really, I'm impressed with the Yo kramers all around... I just think they if they're using the Kramer name they should keep the vibe instead of using it as another name to sell imported "copies" of other companies' popular shapes and designs.

I kinda like the new discipline bass.
I just wish it had more options...
    Like, colors maybe?

Good to see Them making progress.... hope they pick up the distribution.
    Thanks.

Kramer James, it's been said that there will be these starter to intermed line and there will still be the older re issue yo style.

    AMEN!!

The white LP looks good in it's own right. The headstock actually goes with that one...

The new striker.... well, I am confused about this one. Bet it plays nicely though - not convinced with the pick ups from looking at them.

Excluding the logo, the Striker is very much what I expect Kramer would have been pushing out had they survived and it does give the nod back to the 80's look, Gibson didn't buy Kramer as a going concern they just bought the rights to the name, so we we're never going to get a re-launch of the old product range, but credit to Kevin and the boys they've given us some amazing reproductions over the years, but they need to sell units to keep the brand alive and if this is the way their marketing team believes will keep them going then thats all good in my book

Wasn't Kramer always trendy? Nothing ever stayed the same.

Very true indeed for a little while leading the whole guitar industry in terms of design & innovation. I'm going to hold my hands up & say I'd really like to try out one of those LP's I'm curious to see how the whole package stands , the scale + floyd on a LP body intrigues me ( in a good way)

I think you'll find a good many people love the '84 neck, it's as comfortable as an old shoe & one of the main reasons to pick one up.
