Default So when do we get to see those Pacers?

What's up? No info for ages, when do they arrive, can they be preordered anywhere, will they even ever appear?

When do they arrive?: I'm sure Kramer doesn't have a clue.

Can they be preordered anywhere?: I doubt it. That is well beyond the capabilities of Kramer.

Will they even ever appear?: Sure, right after the Nightswan appears.

I've never seen a company (any company, not just guitar companies) lumbar around for years only to produce a handful of products then discontinue those products and still be around. Why be around at all? Its amazing to me that it can take this long to bring out one whole guitar. One guitar. Yeah, thats going to bring Kramer back to form. To be able to make top quality guitars and not capitalize on it is stupidity in its grandest fashion. Kramer doesn't need to be #1 or even close to #1 (that will NEVER happen again by the way) to turn a profit. Personally I would rather they stayed somewhat tiny in order to cater to the niche market they could serve. But no, Kramer is a speck of a company and it still takes forever to do anything. Drunk at the helm with no course to follow. Thats Kramer right now.

I mean just because KRamer did this with every launch in the late 80's doesn't mean Gibson have to do the same

Someone please rattle Paul Unkert or Gary Kramers cage and get them to buy back the name... PLEASE!!!
JUST BOUGHT A KRAMER GUITAR AND WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT IT???

Everything seemed to be looking up with the launch of the new Pacers and now it looks like we may never see them. I wish someone from Gibson/Epi would chime in just to give us an idea of what is on the horizon for our favorite brand.

Guys no offense here, but I've said 4 times on this forum, late Fall they would be available at retail.

You guys make it really exciting for anyone that works at Yo that has a passion for Kramer to really go scorched Earth on us.

If they don't deliver this fall, then bag on em, but geez, I've been saying since the Expo, late Fall.

Just got word, Pacers are still on track for late fall. Now if everyone that has interest will buy them, maybe we can keep Kramer alive.

All these rumors of buy out are highly unlikey at this point too.

I truely have no doubt that they will appear, they've never let us down so far so can't see why they would now when all the R&D is complete and they've announceed production will start.
I was just more interested in the chance of them selling the name after this run of Pacers

Im sure the Pacer WONT get Kramer back in the limelight.

Gibson may sell off Kramer if it becomes a liability. They wont spend money on endorsements. Kramer may bite the big one again.

Why do you guys keep thinking they'll sell it? If it sold for $3 million, and you're talking about a company worth WAY more than that, why would they get rid of something only to have it compete with their other family of brands for a measily $3 million?

I don't understand how that rumor has any merit.

Man, what's with all the negativity. I'm just glad there are SOME Kramers that can be bought new. They're the only guitars up to par when it comes to real 80s hair metal. Seriously. Find me another guitar on the market for 1000$ that can shred like that baretta RI? I've tried lots and they all suck in comparision.

I'd be happy if Kramer was busting out the guitars right now but obviously it's beyond their capabilities right now. Give them a break, at least they are working hard on these models to ensure that they are epic. And so far every model in my opinion HAS been epic. They have been VERY true to original kramer quality and I like that.

So I say, take your time Kramer, aslong as you keep it coming. Even if it's slow it's at least steady and the quality is bang on.

Thanks for all your hard work! I love my new kramers!

    AS for the sell-out rumor:

I really..don't think it's for real. It just doesn't make any sense. 3 Million dollars is just not a lot of money..really. It may seem like it but do you know how many Joe Shmoe's in America have well over 3mil? Gibson's not just going to pop off the Kramer name for 3mill. They'd rather keep it and do nothing with it than sell it for a pittance. And not to mention, why would the company be up for grabs when they are clearly in the middle of the production of their next guitar? Get real. Kramers stickin under the umbrella of gibson and I think the Epiphone team will remain in charge of the project.

Rumor or not. To me it's all irrelevant.

Because if they do have a product (on the site), they never have any

Wierdest company I've ever seen I don't even check the website anymore

Generally speaking, I don't believe anything I hear about Yo till I see it.

Don't expect the Pacers to be on Yo, or any other models for that matter. The yo site may continue out, but I doubt you're going to see alot of new Kramers there.

There are some new models they are working on that go beyond the Pacer or Baretta, some you may like, some you may hate, but they are taking a stab at a different direction for the brand and I'm witholding judgment on anything they do until I see the new stuff.

I'm giving them a chance, the Pacer I bought is fan-fucking-tastic, if they can get these on the shelves, people will buy them. They are amazing guitars.

Are these going to be true to the original designs, or just kind of an updated version?

Now's the time for these guitars to go to market! I know if they released these in lefty I am going to buy atleast one, maybe two.
I'm sure the rest of you rabid beasts are gonna tear them up as well, right?
Charvel are having very good success with their guitars, and I know there's room in the market for Kramer no doubt.
