I've been holding off on this one too long...

I have actually still quite a ways to go on it...possible neck shim...ok PROBABLE neck shim...all right all right...I have to shim the neck, wiring isn't done and intonation of course.

It sure looks trés bien though doesn't it?
Sometimes you make a statement, and some bonehead comes in and references something that you aren't even talking about - I love that.

Not a Kramer, but here is the mutt I've been working on building.

Still have quite a bit of work to do on it, but she's getting there.

still wanting to do a refin on the old striker 500st I have.

    Cheers,
    Chris

I don't know if I posted this one already or not, and frankly I'm feeling too lazy to look through all the pages to see, but here is one of my favorite mutts. F6000 body, Duncan Distortion hum, cool rails (middle), Lil' Screamin Demon (neck). I think the neck is off a Striker, not sure, might be a Focus.

She's not much for clean tones, but she's a monster for high gain stuff...

Oh, and this definitely is not the coolest looking mutt, but it was definitely touched by the finger of tone God.

Focus 6000 body, neck off an '84 Pacer Deluxe, Gold OFR, and an ancient JBJ. Oh, and a never used coil tap that I though would be cool, at the time ('88), but ended up pretty useless tone-wise )

This is a fretless wonder (simply from being played to freakin death) and has a tone that is pretty unbelievable.

It was a Focus 2000, I don't know what they called it but without the flash it looks almost black. It looks almost like silver under a blue clear???

Sweet, I love the mahogany... I built mine because I have a JS-6 Ibanez that seems to be pretty rare and I wanted to preserve it. I got the one piece off fleebay and had to strip the nasty red finish off but I love it. The JS-6 is light as a feather but the mutt is heavy like maple.

Yourworstnightmare, I like the furled banner on the one axe. That can be a paint to paint. Especially that small.

That was actually silver leaf. I got it from a hobby store. I had to mask it off then spray contact adhesive, put leaf on and then cleared it, put shading on with an airbrush and more clear. I got impatient and put it together before putting a pile of clear on it. Banged it it up some and now it's found a new home in Brazil.....Hope it got finished

It was inspired by Lynch's snake ESP(I was going to put a skull on it) and the DeMartini like CMH posted above(still my favorite guitar)
