Default My new Kline II - Plus new pic of "underwater scene"

Here's something to look at for a Thursday night

I have ordered some new art from Dennis Kline. He told me tonight this one is done. One of the scenes I wanted was a space scene. There's no clear coat yet, but enjoy. I can't wait until its done with the clearcoat! (Click to enlarge) Scroll down to see the new "underwater scene" he just put up on his myspace site.

Well, it surprised me too! We had talked about a space scene/nebula, maybe a planet. I also told him what colors I really love, then told him to do his thing. Whoa...

It is wild. I wanted a space scene on this pacer body because it has the 3 pickup routes.

Like I said about the last one we saw, Mr Kline certainly has not lost his touch, even 20 years later that is instantly recognisable as a Kline.

    Awesome

It does look a bit like an eyeball, doesn't it? We'll have to call it space eyeball - its a Kline - I told him to do what he wanted.

Pel, probably about another week or two. I had called him to check on the status on when they'd be done, he said about two weeks. He's working on yours and everyone's, and doing an Octoman for another customer. Its so hot here he's been working at night when its cool (his studio is in an old barn which heats up during the day). He's putting his finished ones on his myspace page under new pics.

He's got an underwater scene for me that's almost done. He said he'd post that in the next couple of days, I'll post it when he puts it up. I've never seen it, just the rough sketch, it will be a surprise.

His camera takes pics just a little bit paler than the original. The pic of the pumpkin Lt. Dan posted here is not quite as bright as it is "in person." I brightened the eyeball space scene just a touch.

I'm still so surprised at the underwater scene.

I agree RSB. He said that one's not quite done, he's adding a bit more color. I put the space scene on the body with the 3 pickup routes, and the "underwater scene" as I call it, on a one pickup body so he had plenty of "canvas" to work off of and there wouldn't be too many routes to take away from the underwater graphic.

Ever since I saw Octoman I've wanted an underwater scene, but not a redo of Octoman - something different. I love the sunken pirate ship.
