Well, after quite a long search I finaly found a nightswan in my price range. It's in really good shape. I've always wanted a black one. It should be here next week but here are some pics the seller sent me. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Jeff

Very nice, Bro. Looks killer, just switch the pickups around so they are right and it will sound killer too.

Nice snag, that's the Swan from Music Recyclery. I heard it was a little beat up (had sticker residue all over it), but it should clean up pretty nicely!

I bought it from Music Go Round in Louisville, Kentucky. Is that the same place your talking about?

Ya he's talking about the same Swan as the one on Music Go Round. It's been there for quite some time. Another forum bro (I forget which one since it's been a while) saw it in person and said it was beat up pretty good. Not trying to be a buzzkill or anything of course, but it's the same Swan for sure. Hopefully it's just sticker residue. That comes off easy enough ;)

Yeah, whoops! Music Go Round, it's the same Swan I was talking about. Still a great snag!!

Dammit, you guys got me worried now. I talked to their store manager on the phone and he swore it was in great shape and the pictures he sent looked pretty good too. I'm gonna be pissed if he misrepresented this swan, I passed up on another one that was awesome from here on the forum. I guess I have 2 days to return it, but then I have to pay shipping. Why can't I get a break? Dammit anyhow!!!

Keep the faith Jeff. The pictures look good.

Even if it is the guitar that is being refeared to, often times people are pesimistic especially about something they are not buying themselves. The pictures don't look like a guitar that has sticker residue on it, besides it comes off easy with Goof Off.

I wouldn't worry too much Jeff. Beat up or not, it's still a Nightswan. Nice score..... :headbang

Yeah Dude, you're one up on most of us.

Heh, if you're not happy.. I'll take it! I can fix almost anything. :)

Sorry bud. Wasn't meaning to make you worry. I just remembered hearing the other guys talking about this one before and someone here had actually seen it in person. It's been on the MGR site for quite some time. Like Tommy said, if sticker residue is it... you'll have no problems cleaning her up nicely :thumbsup

Dude - even if it's a bit scratched up - bottle of 3M Finesse It II Machine Polish and some elbow grease. Shines like new. This is what they use to remove fine scratches from auto paint - worked like a charm when my wife got too close to my son's bike!

Have you ever tried this stuff on a guitar? Sounds like good stuff.

yep - Have a Yamaha Weddington that was scratched to shit. Like the guy wrapped his hands in sandpaper and played with a metal pick. I had to use a mouse power sander and the foam pad, but shined right up.

cooool!!!!

I need a swan!!!!

if the body is in to bad of shape you could always send it to meanstreet and get a holoflash job done.

Imagine that, A holo swan.

really though I hope it comes in good shape.

let us know.

Thanks guys, yeah I'm pretty excited to get it. It is actually sitting 20 minutes from my house in a warehouse and has been here since friday morning but I can't get it until monday due to UPS shutting down their terminals for thanksgiving weekend. It's absolutely killing me, but I know it will be well worth the wait. I'll post some pics when she gets here. BTW if it is beat up then I suppose it would be a great candidate for holoflash. Man, that would just suck..a holoflash swan. LOL!
