Been a member her for for quite a while and first joined to find out info on aluminum neck pickups. I couldn't find any! go figure...I have a 450g and made humbuckers (potted) out of existing baseplates that give me more of the tone that I was looking for. I didn't know if anyone else was in the same boat but if you are then send me a message and I can help you out with info or I can make some for you. I like the fact that you don't have to mess with drilling holes into the body to add pickup rings etc.

YES, and thanks. I make pickups and believe me, these kramer aluminums are tough ones to get info on. if you have baseplates for the 6 string ones or bass then you're good to go. I bought a bass pickup that was epoxied but was able to salvage the baseplate, screws and cover. Those are most important. plenty of bobbins match up.

Lace makes the Alumitones for bass and 6-8 string guitars. Believe it or not, I'm actually thinking of getting a couple for my new ESP, and if they work as advertised, then I will buy some for my Kramer with the 424 configuration. I was at the Lace website, and they have a video that you can play, that shows what they sound like, and all of them were clean, I would use my Ultra Metal 300 with it. If anyone has any pointers or warning, I would greatly appreciate it. Hey chrisdher, what do you charge for making pups? Do you have a webpage, or site that shows off ur work? I might be interested in maybe doing some business with ya. Happy Easter to you all... :headbang
