Looks like Ed dusted off his Kramer Ripley for this song from new upcoming album
(to be listened with headphones)

And yes, it's a "Ripley" remake from 1984.

So it's looking more and more like we won't be hearing any real "new" music from them...
Sad, I wish they still had a little of that spark left.

Was about to revive that old thread but remembered seeing this title and thought maybe you were referring to the Ripley... Certainly sounds like it.

Well, i've always wondered why this was never a real song. Its too early to say after hearing one song and clips of another but yeah... though I can't imagine they had a lot of writing time. Oh well I guess we'll see, i'm still excited. Sounds good.

I like the 'The Wild Life" soundtrack "instrumental" song better.

I could be imagining it, but to me the tone in 'Blood and Fire' is different than Tattoo etc.. A bit clearer, with more snarl - maybe it is the Ripley! :thumbsup

The "Ripley Song" is right up there with the isolated vocals of DLR from Running with the Devil. They are being respawned into different apparitions of absurdity.

Has anybody here ever tabbed the song out or knows how to play it? I could never get the song right.

i don't understand how it's really a remake if it was never released.
tons of bands bank material and then release it later... if they were recutting songs recorded and released with sammy or gary i could see the argument.
