George is playing the Tiger, but it has a Kramer banana headstock on it. I saw this on the Sludge board and thought it was pretty cool.

Bandstand was lip-synch only. However, Dokken at least tried to be realistic. There is one keyboard chord played during Alone Again. Jeff actually pretends to play it for that one note. Most artists would have passed, not Jeff.

BTW I saw Dokken on Metal Evolution last week. It showed GL with a Kline Retta.
Kinda looked like a Space Scene or something low key as graphics go.
Black guitar, blues and grey graphic. It was such a bad angle though, I couldn't see what the graphic was.
Cool to see him in a vid with a Kramer:thumbsup
Anybody know what Klines he has(had)?

You probably saw Mr. Scary before it was so scary.

I read somewhere that George liked to swich necks depending on the amp/tone he was after/ CUZ HE FRIKEN WANTED TOO.
Kramer necks just happened to be one of the necks he went for in replacment for his maple one.

It was nice of Don to stand right in front of Lynch when he introduced him...
Here's that Kramer

Lynch still got the biggest applause, even back then. Always pissed Maynard off. Haha!!!

Kramer made these in '87 right before Lynch signed with ESP. They were a Japan market only guitar (Made by ESP). Around 120 were made, then they stopped. There are different stories to these guitars depending on which company you ask about them. The model was a JK-1000BGL. In the catalog it refers to it having a "GL special head", and was 55,000 yen more than the other JK1000s.
I would love to get Lynch, ESP, and Kramer all in a room with a bunch of beer and saki and find out exactly what was going on between the three of them in '87.
Here's the page from the '87 Japan catalog.

$350 USD in 1987. About double now (55,000 yen) with the current exchange rate with the 1987 price tag.

I saw "Dokken" a few years ago with Poison, and he was singing alot of the high parts an octive lower. Did Pilson do the high harmonies?
