Here is an e-bay buy. I have no idea of the year of the guitar. From the info on the VC site it is a Ferrington KFT-2. This is where I get lost. It has a 3 piece neck with dot inlays, standard screw tuners, not the double pin style, individual string saddles, and a bound body. When I got it there were 2 bad frets that were replaced and the "e" and "b" saddles were grooved deeply. My guitar guy did his magic and now I have a great guitar. Really neck heavey though.
Ok. Can anyone clear up the year and other confusion on this?
(These pictures are pre guitar tech'd)
Thanks!

Mines a FA plate http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f329/luciferthedog/KGrHqNk8E2EbpLFMBNuK8u8UNg_12.jpg is that a globe on the Headstock if so might explain the lack of lettered serial.

Hello All, I see this thread has sort of died, but.....
I've noticed a lot of Ferringtons that do not have the individual bridge pieces. Was there a time frame that a switch to single piece bridges were used? The 3 piece necks were used later in the overseas Kramer runs. Did that follow suit with the Ferringtons? :scratchheI guess I'm still trying to gather info on this. I know there are some very knowledgeable Kramer diehards out there. :thumbsup
Thanks

Did Ferringtons ever use a pyramid logo? Hell I don't know but if they did then since it's not a beak (I have one of those collecting dust) and block pointy doesn't that mean early 86ish?
