I never really understood why keyboard players in those bands had a triple stack of keyboards in front of them and another triple stack behind them.
They normally only play a synth/pads in the background. Even back in the 80's there were MIDI master controller keyboards that could drive a rack full of rack version synths.

Trivia fact: David Bryan from Bon Jovi was originally asked to join the band for the mere fact that he owned a van. Sad but true. Hahahahaha
