depending on what kind of overhead lights they have for the shoot, i can see it being a reflection. if was angled just right.... but, i dunno. i tend to go with steve, because he probably made that guitar:D

I think this has been brought up before. IIRC someone here posted other pictures from that same photo shoot. All the other pics showed that headstock as wood. I'm sure those other pics will be at the expo. Right?

anyway to tell what the serial number was of the one ed used? i know that seems far fetched, but hey.... ive seen stranger things come to light concerning his guitars before:thumbsup
Steve EZ
06-09-2008, 04:08 PM
I'm not even sure he actually owned that guitar, I think it was used in the photo shoot but I don't think I remember seeing him use it.
The face of the headstock was sprayed with polyester which was much more reflective than the finish that was used on the rest of the neck. I think this was just a case of the light hitting it the right way to make it look white.
I have this one as a 8x10 b&w and it's easy to see the wood grain. Same guitar.

well, i only got to plug in and jam for a few minutes. ill know more tonight when i give it an overhaul. first thing im gonna do, is yank that schaller bridge pup out. i hate them. ill probably put a custom 5 in it, as i have one of those in my other beak pacer and it sounds awesome. i will keep the neck pup because i actually like the sound of those. :thumbsup ill bring this to the nashville so you guys can check it out. the case still had the original inspection sheet from kramer and it also had the rockinger "edward van halen tremelo" tag stuck in there. pretty cool swag is always a bonus!

done deal!!!:thumbsup im sure mike wont care, but let me share with you what i wrote him in an email a few minutes ago about this thing..
"dude................ ill admit,. there are a lot of kramers that i dont like the sound of. including some of my own. like my kline baretta and my 85. but there is something about these pacers.... i have that black C series pacer and now this B series. add a fucking regular duncan custom to the bridge on those things, and its magical. better than any prs i have ever owned or played. maybe not as versatile, better better sounding for sure......"
that about sums it up:D
