I waited almost a month for this guitar. I can definately say the wait was worth it!
The maple neck is smooth as hell, the Duncan's have a nice crunch, the action is just where I like it, and best of all: that cream white finish. :drool
There will come a day when I have that middle pup slot filled and have it re-wired, but for right now, I couldn't be happier. To those who helped, thanks for the advice on setting up that Floyd saddle.
I'm extremely pleased and I'm confident this will stay in my arsenal for a long time.

Looks hot..but I would keep her as she is...no filling up the middle pickup slot, you will always see it too..

I hate the middle single. Alot. I'm not one to get over excited about cosmetics, so having an outline (if there will even be one) doesn't bother me in the slightest. But having a waste of magnet in the way of my picking, that does.

Wonderful score! It looks great with the white body and maple neck. Since its becoming a "collectible" - well, not like a '59 Les Paul, but still, they're getting harder to find in such great shape as yours, think carefully about filling the middle slot - just a thought. Anyway, enjoy it, its a beauty.:bananahea

I too hate middle single coils. My advice? Wind it down all the way. That should get it out of the way enough to prevent you from hitting it much with your pick while playing...
H-x-S is my favorite pickup combo btw.

It is wound down, but I don't think the slot is deep enough to accomodate the JB Jr. Either that, or it was installed incorrectly. I'll get used it, and I'll check it out when I re-wire it after Basic Training. :thumbsup

David. Whew:drool :drool :drool
That is a sweeeeet Pacer. Diiiiiiig the Maple/White(creme) combo.
I just have a thing for those Pacer Custom 1 body styles. The Foci 6000 are similar, and I built a mutt with one of those bodies with maple/reverse headstock and she is one of my fav's.
Congrat's, man!
Oh, and for what it's worth, I kind of agree with nightwatch on this one. it's your axe, but you might want to reconsider filling in the middle single slot.
I even kind of like the middle single on my deluxe's and mutt, to combo with the neck for clean tones. Sweeeeeeeeeeet!:thumbsup
Congrat's again, man. And much respect here for your career choice. Go gett'em man!:guns :toast:usa

Thanks guys! This has finally converted me to Kramer-dom. I used to not like JB's, but this one's got balls. :thumbsup
Craig, thanks bro. Just under 3 months left you guys have to put up with me, then 6 months of peace while Ft. Benning tears me a new one. :D

Can I have it?
I'll trade you my vintage Kramer Baretta...that was played by Eddie Van Halen in concert and has his sweat stains on it.
Just one tiny thing though...it wasn't really played in concert...or by Eddie...and the neck isn't a real Kramer...or the body...or the neckplate...or the pups...BUT the strings have been on a Kramer!...well...they COULD have been...if they weren't brand new...okay they are old.
Okay so it's a Squier Affinity but the trade is still on right?
Did I mention it has sweat stains?

Cream and Maple make great combos. Enjoy basic training, make sure you arrive there in shape. Meaning being able to run at a minimum of 2 miles in around 16 minutes, 50 pushups and situps in two minutes and It will be hot and if your a slug it will suck! Once you get past basic those numbers will and must go up. Just some advice for ya.

Nice guitar. Love the white ones.
There are some springs under the single coils.
If you remove them from under the middle pickup then you can screw the pickup down tight to the body. If that fails you can just remove it.
I like using the bridge and the middle pickup together. It takes some of the shrill off of the bridge pickup when playing rhythm.
But that's why they sell so many different types of guitars.

sweet guitar man, a killer score in all our eyes. yep hold on to your shorts in basic. if its anything like mine keep in line or you be getting a extended vacation with rifle and back pack and many miles of the grinder. i look back and think it was'nt that bad, but while it was happening i have to say it sucked big eggs.

Don't feel bad guys...my grandfather told me that their first day in the 1940s was
FULL GEAR, 20 miles, double time in new boots.
They had a full day the next day too.
Nice addition dude, I have a similiar one and really find it to be one of the most versatile Kramers made.
Personally I'd switch the neck pup for a true single coil but thats just me.
mmmm Maple neck..
