Watch out!
Hi ,I just bought from kristin@bcrmusic.com
the original hardtail bridge that was missing from my 650G .
I was such a fool to pay $100 plus $28 for the mail service ,becouse I'm in love with that guitar and without the bridge i couldn't set the action and the intonation and all the other replacement bridges i tryied didn't fit.
They said that the bridge was in very good condition but that was a lie.:arrg
Unfortunately the two of the wagons are destroyed .
I'm desperate now.:banghead
Is there anyone that has in stock any of those wagons from that bridge and wants to trade it or share that lucky with me?:scratchhe

Thanks

As long as you have the baseplate, you can just replace the saddles..here's an example:

Thanks Midnight highway for your advise.
I never had a tele so i don't know the dimensions of the tele saddles.(does anybody know's that?):scratchhe
I see that the original Kramer saddles are very small!
I will measure them and I'll try to find something close.
The other problem (I think) will be , that the Kramer's saddle screws are longer than the tele's(is that right?)
Anyway I'll try to find something.
Thank you very much for your help.
You really gave me a way out!
Have a nice day:toast

Good luck bro. I think most guitar manufacturers made the saddles standard-sized, it's just the baseplate that varies. So yeah look for replacement saddles--as long as you have the baseplate you're cool. :thumbsup

After a research with a friend of mine who is luthier i found that the original Kramer bridge saddles are smaller than any other in the market.
But i was a little bit lucky couse after three days try outs with my luthier friend we managed to take off the rusty and damaged screws from the almost damaged saddles.
So it seems that everything is working now except two damages screws from the saddles.
We tried to find something similar but between hundreds of screws from fender, gibson and every well known type nothing fits!
So i have two options , continue searching or make one from scratch.
I will report any progress.
By the way if anybody knows where could i find similar screws with the same dimensions (where are you Kramer masters?)
or has some to trade or offer I beg him to tell me.:)
Thanks for the help ,especial U Midnight highway and have a nice day.

I remember seeing a complete Aluminium neck Kramer bridge on the 'Bay about 1 or 2 months ago which no one bid on (I was going to, but never did). I tried looking at the completed listings but could not see it now. I believe it was in the States. If I remember who it was from again, I will post the details. Sorry.

Hi KrameRemark:thumbsup , I also saw that, after the auction was finished on the ebay.Nobody bid it so i did a search and i found the seller.
The seller was kristin@bcrmusic.com and that bridge was that one http://i30.tinypic.com/2nhhp3m.jpg
so I bought it and you know the rest.
I'm still searching for two of the original Kramer little saddle screws or some with the same dimensions.
Here in Greece is almost impossible to find something similar.
I would be grateful if somebody could tell me where to find them.:scratchhe
By the way does anyone know the exact dimentions in inches to ask Stewart Mac, becouse here we count in mm.:help
Thanks

Ah yes, that's the one! :thumbsup
Sorry, I didn't take a good look at the pic in the first post!
I thought it was less than $100 too. Looked OK from the angle of the picture also, what a shame.
Now let me understand, you need 2 of the long screws which adjust the intonation? Or you need two allen key grub screws which adjust the saddle height? We are also in mm over here and not imperial. Let me know.

Hey, Steve EZ just helped me out with a site which may also be of interest to you for some parts.
The link below will take you to the screws section. There are grub screws on there which may help (if you are after these).

Again, thanks Steve EZ for providing this link in the first instance! :headbang

Surprised this thread i still alive....you've been at it for awhile.
Here's the deal...when I was given my 650G back in the 80's some of the bridge pieces you need had been swapped for replacements. I had a friend machine me a whole new set using one of the originals as a guide. I still have the originals, either 4 or 5 sets, including the saddle pieces, grub nuts, tension springs and allen head adjuster screws. Let's talk.
Rock On, Steve

New Jersey ?
Nice!
At the other side of the river across NY right?
My drummer used to live there for many years.
I heard of him many stories about your place , so it looks familiar to me.
Good night Steve and I'll keep you informed.
