Sweet guitar,...the first local guy I ever saw playing metal was playing one of those...identical down to the color.
Good memories:thumbsup

My best friends cousin had one with the red snakeskin finish. That guitar was the reason I bought a guitar and started playing.:thumbsup

Awesome guitar, a bud of mine has an old Warlock USA made as well. I just never cared for that body style though. Great player though....

Everytime I see a red Warlock, I think about painting my black N.J. red!

Hell yeah, blood red to boot :)
First time I saw it was in the booklet of "Live... in the Raw" and that's where I fell in love with it - it looked so damn cool, like something out of a horror comic or such.

I guess Blackie goes both ways. He played a bass on the "Blind in Texas" video. Thats my fav WASP tune. I wish I had the tab to it.

He played bass first and switched to guitar later on, I think in "Headless Children" period.

Yeah, I remember an interview back then where he was saying he was happy to be playing guitar- saying his role as bassist had been out of necessity.
:D I can probably attribute a substantial portion of my bad hearing to headphones and "The Headless Children". :lol

I hope they'll come near me as well, that would be fantastic! :headbang
Here are the pics, it's got some minor dings and dongs and some clear coat is off on the headstock but otherwise it's like new. Trem looks like it's never been used, perfectly straight neck with ridiculously low action. Very thin and flat, much flatter than 16" radius. Butter! :jump

The trem is the massive old Ibanez Edge, I never knew they used those? It's definitely original, the Edges have special bushings/screws which noone else has. I'll shoot an e-mail towards their support and ask for some info.

Nice Warlock!
Good luck getting much information from BCR about it though-No offence to you or BCR,but back in the day when this was made Approx 1986/87 nobody at BCR took down ANY details of the bolt ons,Imports and USA made, they considdered them unimportant-sorry
I can tell you that the Ibanez Edge trem is indeed the original trem for your guitar,B.C.Rich used them on a lot of bolt on USA's including the ST III,Warlock etc etc
Congrats:thumbsup

Thanks! Well the guy said it is all original and it was definitely never opened/disassembled. All "virgin" screws on it.
Whatever, plays so sweet that it might become my #1, we'll see how it goes :headbang

Hey Serg, thats an amazing buy, not for me but those US BCR's are fantastic guitars, that action looks wickedly low as well!! Looks like that one is certainly going to get some serious play time now its in your hands!!
BTW off topic a bit what's the tele. looking guitar next to it

That's an 80's USA Peavey Generation, I posted it a while back:
http://www.kramerforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19652
Got it dirt cheap for $250 + shipping, it's basically mint. It just got brand new XL-jumbo frets and it's wicked as well. Great player and if I can get rid of the active pickups also a keeper :bananahea

It reminds me of sitting in "The Flying Dutchman" in Charleston SC on a Wednesday night, which was drink and drown night (.10 drafts), watching the W.A.S.P. video "I'm Blind In Texas". Those were the greatest days of my life!!!
