I received the PD on Wednesday. It looks like it just came off the line at Neptune. This is the cleanest vintage guitar I have ever seen. I am stoked!

I know it is not possible but the strings actually look like the factory strings...

I haven't cleaned it yet, can't put it down, but it won't need much more than a light polish. So far I haven't found any dents, scratchs or pick marks for that mater. Nothing.

Good for you Bruce.
The Deans are hard to come by if you are trying to find one.
You almost have to stumble onto one and be ready to act.

Geez, Bruce! Very nice, man!:thumbsup
So, had that thing even been played before you got it?:scratchhe;) :D
I've never played a PD, what are the necks like?
Oh, and I'm expecting a post in the near future of you fully demonstrating the tone of that thing.
Nice score, man:toast
Well done Briuce, awesome score. It looks amazing.

Excellent indeed Bruce!
I got one myself-special love for it. Mine was beaten to death but resurged by Mitch of Meanstreet himself:headbang
Mine is fuchsia now, and has 2 titanium screws in it's headstock!
Anyways..I love yours! Amazing, I said I did not mine to be yellow..I feel regret now. That's an awesome combination!
How does she sound? Mine is kinda round dark tone with some cutting edge to it? like a tone pot is a little rolled off? I give it to the neck-thru construction and the JB a tad further away from the bridge than regular Kramers?
I love yours..money wise..seems a lot..but get one new now..similar features.. not a chance.

Hey Bruce,
Just wondering, is that a Larrivee built neck-thru? :scratchhe

It is rumored that Larrivee built the Dean's.
They have a similar model as well as an model that looks identical to the Stagemaster's.
