Here is a pic of my baby. I found it in a music store a year or so back. They had NO idea what it was. They thought perhaps it was an LTD? Anyway, I gave $550 for it. Then I got it autographed. Can anyone say "doubled my investment"?

They NEVER inventoried it. The serial number never came up in their records. They had NO Idea how much they had in it, who it came from, or what the price was...they had it hanging on the wall though. :lol Fishy? :scratchhe

That's always been my favorite Lynch signature series. I love how you have it framed with a Lynch Mob poster on one side and a Sacred Groove poster on the other too bro. ;)
How could they NOT know it was an ESP and not an LTD? :scratchhe Can you say "duhhhhh......"?

Do we really need to be bad mouthing a guy's hero in HIS thread showing of HIS favorite guitar??? :scratchhe

I've read a lot of good things about Lynch. I know there was another thread recently where a forum member met him backstage and he was really cool toward him. Let's quit the bashing...

Thanks Mike. Much appreciated. The thing is that you must realize is that he is almost 60 and has been playing guitar since he was 10 or so...wouldn't you stop caring after a while? I sure would!

Have you all seen the collections page on VK where the guy has a Baretta that was actualy won and given to him by ed himself? Imagine that was YOU and YOU were the one to meet your hero and get HIS guitar...

That is what this guitar is to ME. I personaly dont like Ed. But this is not the place to bash each others hero...we might as well just get into the "my dad can beat up your dad" fight. Lets grow up and just play guitar.

I think I will no longer post here unless I realy need help with a Kramer. This is just getting old

Eric~

Do you remember your response to me a week ago? ... and I quote "Are you kidding? whanking? Are you kidding? Not his best? EVH forever? You must be F***ING looney.

Is that Bashing? :scratchhe .... Dont dish it if ya cant take it! Forums are for debates ... I just stated I never was into Lynch ... but never "slammed" you personally... There is your difference!

You were personal, as I stated an opinion! Never an attack on your "well being". :bs

I don't dig Lynch either, but this guitar is a beauty. I'd like to have it.

I've heard that the only reason Lynch wasn't a Kramer player was a limo was late to the airport, and ESP showed up.
At any rate, I wonder if everyone's opinion of him would be different if he'd played Kramers all those years.

I've always liked George Lynch. Back for the Attack ranks in my top 20 favorite rock CD's. Up there with Odysee (Malmsteen), Holy Diver, Diary of a Madman, and VH2. In no particular order.
I see no need for hero bashing at all.

Eric, nice guitar man. I've wanted one of those Skull and snakes guitars for a long long time. Nice score.

Beautiful guitar!

I don't care what anyone says or has to think about George Lynch, he is one of my heroes and one of my favourite guitar players, along with playing in one of my fave bands (i wonder..could it be DOKKEN? :D ;) )

Lynch is a great player and a humble guy.

go Mr. Scary :thumbsup

I've always loved Lynch. I owned every Dokken cassette, and then graduated on to Lnych Mob. I always loved his tone and style. "In My Dreams" was the first metal song I ever learned from beginning to end. Lynch was a huge influence on me, especially my rhythm playing. I remember at the ripe old age of 16 getting together with my best friend and starting a little "band". We went on to make a lot of home original recordings together. I remember being able to palm mute very well, and my friend having a difficult time doing so since he grew up as a huge Who fan and never palm muted before. Lynch and Queensryche are part of the reasons I got into playing ESP guitars as well.

As for the Lynch and Kramer thing, I'm pretty sure I remember Lynch figuring that since ESP was making Kramer's parts at the time, he might as well go directly to them. Unless this is folk lore? :scratchhe

George is an amazing guitar player. and that is an amazing guitar.

I think George had a cover CD called "Furious George" and he played with a bunch of different singeres. It was great!

There is a cd out there called L.A. Blues Authority, Volume 1 that I used to have which had almost every badass player on it including Lynch, Sheehan, Gilbert, and on and on.......Can't find that album anywhere (except on half.com and they want like $20 for it). Wish I could get it again....

Anyways, Lynch's cover of Rolling and Tumblin (known to me best by Eric Clapton's version) was really killer. And I love what he did to Panama on the VH tribute album.

By the way, my favorite lynch guitar is the Kamikaze. Even though I dislike the fact that it almost endorses the Japanese attackers of Pearl Harbor (I am sure there are other inferences of the meaning, but that's the way I take it.) Also I dearly love the Serpent.

I know I said that I was not going to post anymore...but I assure you this is my last one. This thread was only meant to show my ESP off. It was not and should not and WILL not be a thread "who is better Lynch or EVH".

Scotty: I did say those things...I also Apologised to you in the forum and in a private message. I infact "can take it" as well as dish it...But as stated above...this is not the thread to do so. I was only showing everyone my guitar. If you don't like my guitar, don't post. No where in my thread did it bash your hero nor did I say "here is my Lynch ESP...does everyone see why I like lynch better than evh?" If you "Still dont understand the interest with Lynch ... but thats just me. " that is fine. I honestly don't care.

Thank you to all who posted on this thread and your generous comments on my ESP.

Eric
