Ok, the big announcement - drum roll please.....

Baretta Reissues will be available for sale at the Kramer Expo 2006 - for an exclusively low price of $899 - yes you heard it, $899! The catch, you have to register to get that pricing and attend. Only CC's will be accepted. These will be on sale (approximately 10) from 12:00 to 6:00 on Saturday. There will be 3 Barettas on display to play/experiment/check out before purchasing! The only rule, one guitar per registrant to prevent dealers and profit watchers.

For comparison purposes, the Reissue will MSRP at $1899, and will street out much higher than the Expo sales price. SO SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Additionally, THE RAFFLE this year will consist of one Black Baretta Reissue. This will be available at the same rate as last year on tickets, 1 for $10 if not registered, 3 for $10 if registered. Buy as many as you would like. You do not have to attend the Expo to purchase raffle tickets, but you are responsible for shipping.

Additionally, for those that purchase at the Expo, I will print up Certificate of Authenticities on these guitars, to be signed by Musicyo staff. Also, Gary Kramer will be in attendance as well as other factory employees that I'm sure would love to sign your guitar.

So, there you, new info!

Holy cow! Thats great news :headbang
Do you guys still get a cut of guitar purchases towards the next expo on those sales, or is that even possible at those prices? How about a case? If they aren't included would they be available for purchase there at the expo? Would make bringing home a new toy easier... ;)

From what I've been told, the Guitar, the Case, everything will be available there at the Preston for purchase. You will take it home with you after purchase!

We won't get a cut, but thats fine, these are so reduced down that they probably wouldn't want to give me 5%!

Supposodly, they are shooting for before the end of the Summer to have reissues available online. But they will be higher priced, that was confirmed.

Thanks to Jim, Alan and Richard at Musicyo for making this happen, and for the raffle guitar too!

Guys I've played one, it happens to be Mike's.

It feels like and is more consistant than the originals! I'm so eager to get mine.

When Mike & I took his to the Guitar Center in Arlington, we got swarmed by employees and customers.

The buzz is already out about these reissues.

Do the smart thing and buy one at the Expo. If ya cant make it, then buy one as soon as they hit the Yo site! Trust me, these guitars are going to go fast... especially after word gets out.

One more thing I forgot to mention...

Yo said they were going to dig out some old Vintage Kramer memorabilia (the company, not the website) for raffle as well. I have no idea what they have, but sounds like we've got some cool stuff coming.

Also, some chotsky related things too for all registered entrants, the NAMM keychains, brochures, etc.

Sandy, I don't know what the serials will be, but they will be low as they are supposed to release around the same time period at the Expo!

Rod - 100% USA made, bodies and necks built here, assembled here, painted here, etc. Except for the German tuners and Floyd. :)

Remster - Hopefully someday they'll start thinking about lefties...

It's like "The Price Is Right"!

"Come On Down" :thumbsup

You can pay at the door Friday or Saturday. The $50 registration is the key to the 3 fer 1 tickets, Pre-registration (Show or No Show), or pay at the door - Day of Show.

The 3 fer 1's will be available online soon, if you plan on attending (and paying at the door) - please hold raffle ticket purchases until after you've paid in Nashville (for our book keeping purposes). Raffle tickets will be available until the drawing Saturday night.

Thanks guys :thumbsup

Just want to rephrase one more time though, in order to get the $899 pricing on the Baretta, you must be fully registered, not just paying the $15 viewing fee for Saturday. Thats to ensure only people who have paid for the event that get the guitar.

Contrary to what someone another forum is stating, there won't be any dibs placed for certain persons getting an $899 reissue. It will be handled as a first come, first served basis, no waiting lists, no holds/deposits, etc. Your CC will be accepted into the Musicyo system onilne from the ballroom and you will be given your guitar on the spot right there. They go on sale at 12:00 NOON on Saturday the 12th, whoever is inline first will get first dibs on the first sale. No serial numbers are guaranteed btw. This is approximately $300-400 cheaper than what these guitars will street price at, or the amount they will appear for on Musicyo.com. I will be making Certificate of Authenticities for those who want them, signed by Musicyo staff that had a hand in designing and producing these instruments.

You will have your choice of Black, Candy Red (like mine), or cream. All have matching headstocks. I also want to say again, this is something we've actually been trying to get Yo to do since year 1 of the Konventions and Expos, to sell on site guitars like this. This is a major cool deal as well as the raffle, since we've been waiting so long on these guitars. I think its pretty dang cool that we're being given the exclusive deal! If I didn't already own a reissue, I'd buy one in a heartbeat at the show!

Here's another question for you mike, since these guitars at the expo will be USA made and assembled, can we register them over at VK? or is that for the old ones only? It would be neat to have one of the first guitars registered over there :thumbsup

That's great news, and bad news.
Great news that they're gonna be done and we get an awesome deal.

Bad news is I probably won't be able to stop myself from getting a new credit card just for that guitar.

Damn. :headbang

Registering new stuff. I probably need to, but since everything is mostly consistent on the reissues, I don't know what registering would buy us except just to have serials on file.

I'll start taking those though if people want to register new Yo stuff.....

So we just email you with a picture, description and Serial number to register? I'm thinking of registering my 1984.

short_circus
06-19-2006, 03:53 PM
Yeah, I guess the only good reason to register them would be to have the serials on file somewhere outside the owners home in case of theft or fire or something.

True - good point.

yea, send em to me, give me more to do. Sure guys, no problem. LOL

Thought about it - yes. But I've had a hard time delegating anything up concerning VK because of past experience. :)

At some point, I will have it automated to do this. I do have it setup now where its much faster to get them in though.
